Girls Golf Day @ SHC GC
Monday afternoons are now Girls Day at SHC GC. We are creating a social golf day where girls will feel comfortable playing golf with other girls. Tee times will begin at 4:00 pm, I will put the girls in groups, and they will play golf on their own. The goal is to have them play nine holes in a two hour period, get used to playing with others, and feel comfortable at the course. The target group are the girls playing on their high school team, or who want to play on their high school, or who are interested in meeting other girls that play golf. September 22nd will be our first Monday event.
Requirements:
- Girls must be able to walk and play nine holes
- no parents allowed on the course with the groups
- girls must have their own equipment
- notify me by Monday at noon, via email if you are playing that day.(this allows me to make groupings)
- Golf will cost $10.00 each Monday

Annual Junior Golf Program:
This year I started an annual junior golf program, with images of success. However, with any new program you have to watch it grow and evolve and then evaluate it's success. Well the evaluation is coming through with stars, bells, and whistles. Next year I will focus a lot of attention on bringing more juniors to this program.
